The Atlantic Walrus

The Atlantic Walrus has noticeably smaller tusks and is smaller is stature being about 8 feet long and weighting a mere 2000 lbs.

The Pacific Walrus

The Pacific Walrus has noticeably longer tusks and is larger being about up to 12 feet long and weighting whopping 4,000 lbs.

Freya -Atlantic Walrus

She became famous in Norway when she was observed not to be afraid of humans. So much so that she would sun bathe on their boats often sinking them.

Freya Memorial

Norway chose to euthanize Freya instead of relocating her. This is the statue that was erected in her honor. We at Buzzed and Baffled do not support the pose.

Wally on a Boat

In Ireland Wally carried on Freya's work often choosing local boats as a place to sun himself.

Wally on a Float

Unlike Norway Ireland found an alternative to keep Wally and the public safe. They made him a float where he could sun himself away from people. He has returned to the Artic where he is believed to be living happily.
